Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Wednesday’s trading session in green territory, supported by the growth of three sectors.
By 09:45 am Qatar time, the general index grew 0.33% to 10,064.85 points, adding 33.26 points.
The bourse’s turnover amounted to QAR 15.85 million after 867,620 shares were traded through 413 transactions.
The goods and services sector topped the QSE’s gainers adding 1.02% due to Medicare Group’s 2.95% growth, while the banking sector inched up 0.11% as National Leasing Holding Company levelled up 1.78%.
Meanwhile, the real estate sector headed the bourse’s decliners falling 0.78% on the back of Ezdan Holding Group’s 1.53% drop.
Medicare Group’s stock, which rose 2.48%, led the QSE in terms of liquidity with QAR 4.3 million, while Qatar First Bank’s stock, which advanced 1.05%, spearheaded the market in terms of trading volume with 478,100 shares.
