Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) general index added 37.43 points, or 0.82%, to close at 4,615.27 points, its third successive growth, on Sunday on the back of the energy, banks, and real estate sectors.
The ADX’s trading volume increased to 189 million shares from 110 million on Thursday, while the market’s liquidity surged to AED 207.8 million, compared to AED 207.8 million in the previous session.
The energy sector soared 4.07% after Dana Gas skyrocketed 8.33%, with 84.07 million traded shares and a turnover of AED 76.17 million.
The banks sector added 1.34%, as First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) gained 2.19%.
The real estate sector increased by 0.41% after Eshraq Properties jumped 4.23%.
By contrast, the telecommunication sector and its only stock, Etisalat, shed 0.28%, while the investment sector levelled down 0.86%.
