Kuwait – Mubasher: A total of three stocks accounted for 56.3% of Boursa Kuwait’s total liquidity of KWD 5.56 million during Monday’s trades.
The combined turnover on Agility, Al Imtiaz Investment Group and the National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) amounted to KWD 3.13 million.
By 12:00 pm Kuwait time, Agility’s stock, up 1.88%, logged the highest turnover on the bourse with KWD 1.54 million, making up 27.7% of Boursa Kuwait’s total liquidity.
On Sunday, the Kuwaiti stock market announced that Agility’s stock had resumed trading following a suspension by the company.
Al Imtiaz’s stock, down 0.63%, came in second with 17.5% or KWD 974,000 of the bourse’s turnover, followed by NBK, stable at 680 fils, with 11.2% or KWD 620,000 of liquidity.
Traded volumes for the three stocks reached a combined 9.3 million shares traded, accounting for 31.6% of the bourse’s total volumes.
Al Imtiaz was the volume leader with 6.2 million shares exchanged, representing 21.1% of the bourse’s total.
Agility and NBK made up 7.5% and 3.1% after 2.2 million shares and 911,000 shares were traded on the stocks, respectively.
In the meantime, Boursa Kuwait’s indices saw varying performance, as the price index grew 0.32%, while the weighted and Kuwait 15 indices edged down 0.02% and 0.04%, respectively.
