Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) opened Tuesday down, weighed by the First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB).
By 11:01 am UAE time, FAB fell 0.48% to AED 10.30, after 1.1 million shares changed hands at a turnover of AED 11.7 million.
In the meantime, the banks sector lost 0.34%, topping the market’s decliners.
RAK Ceramic and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) were among the notable fallers, shedding 0.83% and 0.14%, respectively.
Despite these stock’s declines, the ADX’s general index edged up 0.02% or 0.81 points to 4,4411.44 points.
Turnover on the ADX amounted to AED 489.7 million after 45.2 million shares changed hands through 283 transactions.
