Tihama losses down 11% in 3M on associates

Riyadh – Mubasher: Tihama Advertising and Public Relations' losses fell 10.92% year-on-year to SAR 10.2 million ($2.72 million) in the third quarter of 2016 from SAR 11.45 million ($3.05 million).

The decrease in losses was attributed to the increase in share of profits from associates by around SAR 0.8 million, in addition to the decrease in finance charges of nearly SAR 1.6 million following a restructure of loans.

On the other hand, the gains were partially offset by higher general and selling expenses by nearly SAR 0.6 million and lower income by around SAR 0.5 million, according to a bourse filing on Monday.

Total revenues went down 6% to SAR 13.4 million for the quarter ended 30 June 2016 compared to SAR 14.3 million for the year-ago period.
