Riyadh – Mubasher: Alinma Tokio Marine's losses before Zakat shrank 84.71% year-on-year to SAR 1,103 in the third quarter of 2016 from SAR 7,214.
Lower net loss is mainly due to an increase in the insurance revenues by SAR 21.2 million, a decrease in insurance related general and administrative expenses by SAR 2.1 million and reduction in shareholders' investment loss by SAR 1.5 million.

Increase in gross written premium is mainly attributable to the increase in business from motor by SAR 4.4 million and protection and savings business by SAR 1.4 million.
The company's losses before Zakat decreased 2.62% to SAR 19,361 in the first nine months 2016 from SAR 19,881 in the same period of 2015.
