Mubasher: Total S.A. on Friday reported a 39% year-on-year rise in third-quarter net income amid oil prices recovery.
The French petroleum refining company achieved net income of $2.72 billion in the three months ended September 2017 from $1.95 billion in the prior-year period.
Sales stood at $43.04 billion in Q3-17 from $37.41 billion in Q3-16, beating analysts’ estimates $31.56 billion.
Adjusted earnings per share (eps) increased 23% to $1.04 in Q3-17 from $0.84.
