Mubasher: Data released by the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) showed a rise in net banking facilities to BHD 693.66 million on Monday compared to BHD 676.28 million on Sunday.
One-night facilities reached BHD 278.66 million, while deposits for one week amounted to BHD 210.5 million, the CBB clarified in its statement released Tuesday.
Total deposits for one month reached BHD 196 million.
Meanwhile, BHD 8.5 million worth of sukuk were issued for a one-week period, statement added.
Banking facilities are a collection of deposit and lending tools that retail banks can receive to meet their liquidity needs in Bahraini dinars.
