Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The total number of investors in the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (QDX) reached 968,804 by the end of November 2016.
The number of local investors amounted to 1,549 in the first 11 months of 2016, while total investors from the GCC reached 227, Arab investors amounted to 782 and 992 investors were from other nationalities, according to a statement.
Local and foreign institutional investors reached 462 by the end of November 2016.
“The number of investors is growing steadily, backed by the attractiveness of prices and the low price-to-earnings ratio compared to other markets in the region,” Rashed Al Baloushi, CEO of ADX, said.
