Tourism flows in S. Sinai range between 20-25% - Governor

Cairo – Mubasher: Tourism flows to South Sinai Governorate are still average, as rates range between 20% and 25%, South Sinai governor Khalid Fouda told Massa' DMC on DMC TV.

The number of tourists reaches between 40% and 45% in the holiday season, Fouda added.

The Egyptian government is at pains to attract tourists from new markets such as Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Armenia, as the Russian tourism has not been resumed yet.

It is worth mention that CEO of the Tourism Development Authority Hisham El Demery previously said that the number of tourists who visited Egypt rose by 55% year-on-year in the first 11 months of 2017.
