Dubai – Mubasher: The general index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) declined by 13.45 points, or 0.51%, to 2,639.48 points in a week, dragged down by the transport and investment sectors.
The consumer staples, investment, and banking sectors gained 3.08%, 1.77%, and 1.5%, respectively.
Aramex, Air Arabia, and Gulf Nav rose 3.5%, 2.8%, and 1.6%, respectively.
Meanwhile, Union Properties lost 2.33%, while Emirates NBD retreated 2.68% and Commercial Bank of Dubai (CBD) went down 4.5%.
Market capitalisation sank to AED 350.17 billion this week, compared to AED 352.81 billion a week earlier.
