Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s ministry of transport announced the implementation of eight axes on the River Nile at a cost of EGP 11 billion.
The axes will be established in several locations in the Upper Egypt governorates of Aswan, Qena, Minya, Assiut, Beni Suef, and Sohag, the ministry said in a statement on Monday.
The network of axes aims to connect between the east and west banks of the Nile in an effort to achieve comprehensive development in Upper Egypt, the statement added.
