Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) opened Sunday’s trading session on a low note, dragged down by four sectors, led by transport.
By 11:20am UAE time, the general index slipped 0.05% or 1.88 points to 3,564.47 points.
The transport sector fell 0.42% after Gulf Navigation and Air Arabia lost 1.32% and 0.9%, respectively.
The insurance and telecommunications sector declined 0.83% each, after Dar Al Takaful and du dropped 2.04% and 0.84%, respectively.
In the meantime, turnover reached AED 100.11 million after 82.61 million shares changed hands through 1,259 transactions.
Earlier on Sunday, analysts advised traders to speculate cautiously on the two UAE markets.
