Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Monday’s trading session in the green territory, buoyed by the transportation and banks sectors.
The DFM’s general index inched up 0.04%, or 6.56 points, to finish the session at 2,643.51 points.
Turnover amounted to AED 95.63 million after 162.22 million shares exchanged hands through 1,996 transactions.
The banks sector topped risers with 0.25% as Mashreq Bank and Ajman Bank levelled up 5.34% and 1.88%, respectively, while the telecommunication sector and its sole stock, Du, went up 0.2% each.
On the other hand, the investment sector headed losers after falling 0.37% as Ithmaar sagged 4.04%.
