Mubasher: Tunisia and France have signed a number of agreements in Tunis on Thursday in the fields of investment and development, with a total value of EUR 92.3 million.
The agreements were signed at the end of the first meeting of the Tunisian-French High Council for Cooperation held at Edhiafa Palace in Carthage.
The council is chaired by the Tunisian Prime Minister Youssef Chahed, and his French counterpart Edouard Philippe.
According to a statement issued by the Tunisian government, a EUR 62 million financing agreement was signed to support the Investment Recovery and Farm Modernization Program.
Another financing agreement for a credit line granted to Amen Bank in the amount of EUR 15.3 million to support the microfinance sector, alongside EUR 15 million green credit line from the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) to the International Bank Union (IBU).
