Mubasher: Tunisia and Sudan agreed to resume air services of 1 January 2016 after the route was closed for over 25 years, said the Tunisian Ministry of Transport.
The two countries signed an agreement on Tuesday in Tunis to re-open the route.
Tunisair and Nouvelair will be able to operate regular flights between the two states.
