Riyadh – Mubasher: Two private transactions were conducted on some stocks on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul), after 697,800 shares were exchanged at a trading value of SAR 22.8 million.
One transaction was carried out on Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Maaden), with 436,500 shares exchanged at a turnover of SAR 20.84 million.
On the other hand, one transaction was executed on Al Marai’s stock for 25,270 shares exchanged at a value of SAR 1.98 million.
Private transactions are orders that are placed upon agreement between seller and purchaser on trading stocks at certain prices, in line with Tadawul’s and the Saudi Capital Market Authority’s (CMA) regulations.
They do not affect the price of the last transaction on the stock, the high-and-low share price, the opening and closing prices, the benchmark index, or the sector indices.
