Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Monday’s trading session in the red, pressured by the industrial and banking sectors.
By 10:00 am Qatar time, the general index fell 0.16% to 10,671.55 points, losing 17.62 points.
Turnover amounted to QAR 1.17 billion after 1.47 million shares were traded through 819 transactions.
The industrial sector topped decliners with 0.51% as Industries Qatar plunged 0.93%, while the banking sector inched down 0.10% on the back of Qatar National Bank’s (QNB) 0.26% drop.
Meanwhile, the real estate sector headed gainers adding 0.34% as Ezdan Holding Group rose 0.62%.
QAMCO’s stock, which grew 0.91%, led the QSE in terms of trading volume with 678,700 shares, generating QAR 8.3 million in liquidity.
