Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) ended Thursday’s trading session a positive performance, hitting the highest level in three years, supported by the growth of the telecommunication and banks sectors.
The general index hiked 177.73 points, or 3.69%, ending the last session of the week at 4,997.56 points.
The ADX’s trading volume reached 159.075 million shares exchanged with a turnover of AED 507.841 million through 2,425 transactions.
The telecommunication sector topped risers with 5.24%, followed by the bank sector after First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) grew 6.46%.
Meanwhile, the investment sector headed decliners after losing 5.25%, followed by the energy sector with 0.9%.
The real estate sector shed 0.32% as Eshraq Properties dipped 2.79%.
