U.S. Oil rigs number declines for 4th week in row

Mubasher: The number of oil rigs drilling for oil in U.S. fields declined for the fourth week in a row, by 3 rigs to 351 rigs in the week ended on 15 April,  according to oil services company Baker Hughe.

Oil prices fell on Friday, two days before the meeting due to be held in Doha on 17 April between members of OPEC and non-cartel countries.

The total number of drilling platforms for natural gas and oil platforms also shrank by 3 rigs to 440 rigs.
