Dubai-Mubasher: U.S. home prices increased in September, beating forecasts amid a decline in sales.
The S&P/Case-Shiller Home Price Index, covering the entire nation, gained 5% from a year earlier, compared with a 4.7% increase in August.
The 20-city index gained 5.5% year-over-year compared with 5.1% a month earlier.
