U.S. stocks end 2015 lower; Nasdaq sole survivor

Mubasher: U.S. stocks ended 2015 in the negative territory, while Nasdaq was the sole survivor.

The stocks witnessed slight fluctuations last year. They rose until the middle of 2015, and then declined on economic challenges in China and Grace.  

Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 2.2% to 17,425.03 points, and S&P index edged down 0.72% to 2,043.94.

On the other hand, Nasdaq Composite rose 5.7% to 5,007.41.
