U.S. stocks open higher, shrug off China woes

Mubasher: U.S. stock indices started Monday on a positive note, unhurt by volatility in Chinese shares.

At 3:00 GMT, Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by 0.5%, while S&P Index added 0.6%.

NASDAQ Composite Index advanced by 0.8%.
