Cairo – Mubasher: The U.S. equity markets kicked off Wednesday with a modest rise, as investors are awaiting minutes of the Federal Reserve meeting for an update on rate move next month.
At 2:45 GMT, Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by 0.3%, while S&P Index rallied by 0.4%. NASDAQ Composite Index also added 0.5%.
Goldman Sachs said earlier today that consumer spending in 2015 helped the U.S. economy recover.
