Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Non-oil trade exchange between the Netherlands and the UAE has surpassed AED 19 billion (Euro 4.2 billion), Dutch ambassador to the UAE Frank Mollen said.
The UAE has large and promising investment opportunities for Dutch companies, Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported, citing Mollen as saying.
The Netherlands plans to invest largely in Expo 2020 exhibition which will be taken place from 1-3 May 2018 at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC), Mollen added, noting that the value-added tax (VAT) in the Netherlands is higher than its peer in the UAE.
