Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Top officials from UAE and the Democratic Republic of the Congo convened on Monday and discussed means of bolstering cooperation between the two countries.
The UAE’s foreign affairs and international cooperation minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with his Congo counterpart and vice premier Leonard She Okitundu in Abu Dhabi, where they signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for a mutual visa exemption.
The Congo official also stressed the importance of bilateral ties with the UAE, confirming his country’s “country's keenness on furthering these relations to serve the interests of both countries,” Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.
