Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Trade exchange between the United Arab Emirates and Germany reached nearly AED 45 billion ($12.25 billion) in 2014, said Economy Minister Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori.
He added that around 1,000 German companies are operating in the UAE that hosts more than 12,000 German nationals.
The UAE is considered the biggest trade partner for Germany in the region, said Al Mansoori, adding that Germany is a key commercial partner for the UAE as it comes fifth in terms of trade ties with world countries.
Moreover, Germany is ranked fourth biggest exporter to the UAE and comes in the 29th position in terms importers from the UAE, he indicated.
