UAE, India bilateral trade hits $18bn in H1-18

Dubai – Mubasher: Trade exchange between the UAE and India registered $18 billion during the first half of 2018, the GCC nation’s economy minister said.

Non-oil trade between both countries reached $34.8 billion during the full year 2017, Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori added.

The announcement came on the sideline of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Partnership Summit-2019 in Mumbai, which was launched on Sunday, 13 January.

The 25th edition of the summit is expected to build new partnerships and explore investment opportunities in sectors like artificial intelligence (AI), big data, food processing, defense, aeronautics, renewable energy and tourism.
