Dubai – Mubasher: The UAE is in advanced conversation with the Indian authorities to facilitate air travel to the UAE by offering more affordable flights for Indian tourists and visitors.
There is currently a “discrepancy” between supply and demand on flights from India, Ahmed Al Banna, the UAE ambassador to India, said while speaking at the Indian Institute of Technology
He pointed out that the total number of flights between both countries reached 1,068 flights per week, with a total capacity of 168,000 seats, which do not meet the high demand.
Negotiations regarding improving the conditions through a bilateral air service agreement are expected to take place soon, Al Banna added.
“Our airlines also need open skies,” Al Banna concluded.
