UAE, Russia ink MoU to boost air traffic services

UAE – Mubasher: The UAE has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Russian Federation to collaborate in boosting air traffic services to different cities in both countries, Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.

The MoU was signed during talks chaired by deputy director-general of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) Omar Ghalib Bin Ghalib at the Sheikh Zayed Air Navigation Center in Abu Dhabi, according to WAM.

Meanwhile, the Russian delegation was headed by Director of State Policy Department in the Russian Civil Aviation Stilvana Petrova.

The two parties seek to hold a new round of talks in the first half of 2020 in St. Petersburg, Russia.

It is noteworthy that Emirati civil aviation departments and representatives of national carriers including Emirates, Etihad Airways, Air Arabia, and Flydubai have participated in the discussions.

The UAE aims at strengthening its tourism and trade ties with all countries around the world by offering optimum air transport services.
