Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The UAE has become the world’s first signatory to the scale 360 initiative in collaboration with the World Economic Forum (WEF) on the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), according to Emirates News Agency (WAM).
The initiative offers a circular economy model, inspired from nature’s biological and technical cycles, which uses the fourth industrial revolution technologies in order to maintain the quality and value of materials and resources over the long term.
"The UAE’s signing on scale 360 launched by WEF reflects the government's commitment to employ the fourth industrial revolution’s technologies for a better future for communities while joining the global efforts to sustain the environment for future generations," the UAE’s minister of state for artificial intelligence, Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, said.
