UAE – Mubasher: The total value of deals penned by the UAE Armed Forces since the opening of the Unmanned Systems Exhibition (UMEX) and the Simulation and Training Exhibition (SimTEX) 2020 has exceeded AED 624.962 million.
During the second day of the exhibitions, being held on 23-25 February, the UAE Armed Forced has signed seven external and local deals worth over AED 468 million, the UAE Armed Forces announced during a recent press conference.
The spokesman for the UMEX and SimTEX 2020 exhibitions, Staff Brigadier Fahad Nasser Al Thehli, said: "The total value of external deals reached AED 25.821 million, while the total local contract deals amounted to AED 443.049 million, representing 94% of total deals signed in the second day.”
Al Thehli referred that the external deals were inked with Denel Dynamics, EARTH, Al Awael Company, I ON Technology Company, and Power Drone Company at a total value of AED 25.821 million, AED 22.573 million, AED 3.2 million, AED 2.3 million, and AED 550,000, respectively.
