Dubai – Mubasher: UAE’s trade with Azerbaijan grew to around AED 679 million in the first nine months of 2017, said Dubai Customs’ director Ahmed Mahboob Musabih on Sunday.
The bilateral trade between the two nations during the first three quarters of 2017 included AED 4.3 million imports and AED 133.4 million exports, along with re-exports of AED 541.4 million, Musabih revealed.
Dubai Customs is keen on promoting mutual trade with Azerbaijan through providing Azerbaijani investors and traders with customs exemptions, he noted.
Azerbaijan is planning to boost its economy in the coming years through the non-oil sector, Alnoor Aleef, Azerbaijani commercial representative commented.
We are looking forward to deepening our relationships with the UAE and coordinating with Dubai Customs to promote the bilateral trade, Aleef concluded.
