Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Central Bank of the UAE plans to implement procedures on the banks which are not committed to Emiratisation.
The Central Bank will hold meetings with all banks by the end of December 2017 to see their commitment to the points’ system, aiming to raise the Emiratisation’s ratio, according to a source.
A work plan will be implemented to affirm that the banks will continue increasing their Emiratisation's ratio, according to the points’ system, Emaratalyoum newspaper reported, citing the source as saying.
By the end of October 2015, the UAE’s Cabinet approved the points’ system to raise the Emiratisation’s ratio in the country’s banking sector.
