Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Foreign assets of the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) declined by 5% in September 2020 to AED 356.6 billion, compared with AED 374.33 billion in the year-ago month.
On a monthly basis, foreign assets grew by AED 1.4 billion in September 2020 when compared to August 2020, according to official data.
Year-on-year (YoY), foreign deposits stood at AED 316.39 billion in September 2020, a drop of 10% when compared to AED 350.96 billion in the same month in 2019.
On the contrary, other foreign assets surged by 87% YoY in September to reach AED 32.58 billion.
