UAE-Greece non-oil trade hits $212m in 9M

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Non-oil trade between the UAE and Greece grew 10% year-on-year to over $212 million in the first nine months of 2017, the UAE's economy minister Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri stated on Tuesday.

The UAE is keen on developing its relations with Greece in various fields including small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), innovation, and entrepreneurship – along with industry, trade, and tourism, Al Mansouri added.

In the last five years, bilateral non-oil trade between the two nations grew 8.4% on average, the top official revealed.

UAE-Greece relations will flourish in the coming period, as both countries share the desire to explore potential cooperation opportunities, Al Mansouri concluded.
