UAE-India flights to add 20,300 passengers annually

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Flights between India and the UAE will grow 6.3% and are expected to add 20,300 passengers per year, according to a report released by International Air Transport Association (IATA).

Meanwhile, flights between Saudi Arabia and the UAE are also forecast to grow, accounting partially for to an expected overall 5% increase in travellers by 2036, the report found.

“Nearly 7.8 billion people, approximately 87 percent of the world’s population, will experience flight in 2036,” IATA revealed.

China will edge out the US as the world’s biggest market for air travel in 2022, which is two years earlier than IATA’s previous forecast, the report concluded.
