Dubai – Mubasher: Meraas Holding on Monday has signed an agreement with Dubai Municipality to manage Dubai Safari in the presence of Dubai’s Crown Prince Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
This agreement has been signed in line with instructions of vice president and prime minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Media Office said in a tweet.
Upon the deal, Meraas will add Dubai Safari, the region’s latest landmark leisure and entertainment attraction, to its full-fledged entertainment portfolio.
The Dubai-based real estate developer will develop a plan, including providing visitors unique experience that makes the destination one of the premier wildlife parks in the world.
The company is determined to apply this plan in the two next years, which is projected to lure two million visitors per year.
The Dubai-based firm also seeks to make visitors enjoy Dubai Safari and other destinations through buying one priced entry ticket.
Meraas has hired Spain-based Parques Reunidos to operate this destination based on the highest global standards.
Dubai government said that the deal between Meraas and Dubai Municipality bolsters Dubai Tourism Vision 2020 and comes in line with the preparations for Expo 2020.
