Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Trade exchange between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Russia exceeded $ 2.5 billion (AED 9.2 billion) in 2015, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy for Foreign Trade and Industry, Abdullah Bin Ahmed Al Saleh, said on Saturday.
During his speech at the Kazan International Economic Summit (KazanSummit), Saleh added that UAE investments in Russian Federation amounted to $18 million, while Russia’s investments in the Gulf state reached $755 million by the end of 2014, according to a statement.
Al Saleh noted that the number of direct flights between the two countries total 90 flights a week; from Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah covering 15 destinations in Russia.
