UAE actual expenditures reach AED 47.60bn for 2016

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The UAE’s actual expenditures for federal ministries reached AED 47.60 billion for the fiscal year 2016, WAM news agency reported.

Revenues amounted to AED 47.49 billion, according to the financial performance report for the implementation of the general budget for federal entities in 2016.

''The completion ratio for expenditures and revenues was 96% and 98%, respectively,'' the report issued by the Ministry of Finance added.

The allocations for general public services in the 2016 budget was AED 16.064 billion, while the allocations for public order and safety, education, defence, health, and social protection reached AED 10.096 billion, AED 6.426 billion,  AED 6.148 billion, AED 3.849 billion, and AED 2.979 billion

The estimated revenues for 26 independent entities for 2016 amounted to AED 14.667 billion, while the estimated expenditures amounted to AED 14.463 billion.
