UAE airlines to see lower profits in 2017

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: UAE airlines are expected to post lower profits in 2017 compared to the last two years, CNBC Arabia reported.

“2017 will not be a positive year for Middle East airlines due to the pressures the region is facing, in addition to limited growth in demand,” according to Alexandre de Juniac, director general and chief executive of the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

Emirates, Etihad Airways, and Fly Dubai may see lower profits this year compared to 2016, Juniac added.
