UAE allows travel to specific destinations

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE has allowed certain categories of citizens and residents to travel to specific destinations starting June 23 upon following some procedures to contain the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA), and the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management (NCEMA) have recently announced that the categories and destinations will be announced later.

The three entities added that those who are allowed to travel should follow preventive measures before they travel, during their stay abroad, and after their return.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management in Dubai has set new air travel protocols to permit residents and citizens to travel abroad, according to the Dubai media office.

From 7 July, Dubai will welcome tourists who are required to bring a recent COVID-19 negative certificate or undergo tests at Dubai airports.
