Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The UAE’s total bank assets rose 0.2% to AED 2.48 trillion by the end of last January, compared to AED 2.474 trillion by the end of December 2015, according to the country’s central bank.
The total credit also increased 0.4% to AED 1.492 trillion during January, versus AED 1.485 trillion in December.
Money supply (M1) jumped 3.6% to AED 473.5 billion last month, versus AED 457 billion in December. Money supply (M2) also increased 0.7% to AED 1.212 trillion from AED 1.2 trillion and money supply (M3) edged up 0.6% to AED 1.372 trillion from AED 1.364 trillion.
