Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: UAE gross bank assets rose 5% year-on-year in October, according to a statement by the Central Bank of UAE.
Assets reached AED 2.544 trillion ($692 billion) in October 2016, compared to AED 2.421 trillion ($659 billion) in October 2015.
Total deposits increased 5% to AED 1.503 trillion in October 2016, compared to AED 1.435 trillion in October 2015
Loans and advances reached AED 1.570 trillion in October 2016, up 6% to AED 1.482 trillion in October 2015.
