Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Excess Reserves at the UAE’s banks and other financial institutions declined 6.6% to AED 24.2 billion ($6.58 billion) by the end of May 2016, compared to AED 25.9 billion ($7.04 billion) by the end of April 2016.
Quasi-monetary deposits reached AED 697.5 billion month-on-month by the end of May 2016, down 1.7% from AED 709.7 billion by the end of April 2016, according to the UAE Central Bank.
