Mubasher: The UAE banks’ required reserves fell 1.4% or AED 1.7 billion by the end of August, compared to figures recorded by the end of July, according to the Central Bank of the UAE.
Required reserves stood at AED 118.2 billion ($32.17 billion) by the end of August this year, compared to AED 119.9 billion (32.64 billion) by the end of July.
The banks’ excess reserves stood at AED 28.1 billion by the end of August, compared to AED 21.6 billion by the end of July.
