Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The assets of UAE banks rose 4.6% or AED 116.8 billion ($31.8 billion) in July 2017, compared to the year-ago period, new data by the Central Bank of the UAE showed on Wednesday.
The assets increased to AED 2.6327 trillion ($716.63 billion) in July 2017, from AED 2.5158 trillion ($684.81 billion) in July 2016, the bank’s data revealed.
Year-on-year, deposits levelled up 7.13% to reach AED 1.592 trillion, compared to AED 1.486 trillion.
Loans and advances grew 3.5% reaching AED 1.594 trillion in July 2017, from AED 1.540 trillion in the corresponding month in the year earlier.
