Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: The UAE banks’ loans to private sector reached AED 6.5 billion in March 2016, according to a report released by the Central Bank of UAE.
Outstanding loans rose 0.63% to AED 1031.3 billion in March 2016, compared to AED 1024.8 billion in February 2016.
Credit to the private sector represented 68% of the UAE bank’s total credit portfolio worth AED 1517.5 billion, while it accounted for 73.4% of the AED 1404.4 billion domestic credit.
