Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The UAE on Thursday banned living birds’ imports from Flevoland Province in the Netherlands.
All poultry, wild and ornamental birds, and non-thermally treated birds’ waste are banned, the UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment stated.
In December, the UAE and Oman banned living bird imports from Saudi Arabia, due to the emergence of bird flu among poultry.
