Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Emirati Ministry of Economy will ban the sale of electronics without contracts at the outlets by January 2018.
The ministry will consider any electronics sale without a contract as cancelled, according to Emarat Al Youm newspaper.
UAE’s outlets will start implementing the ‘unified contract’, which covers sale and warranty, maintenance and spare parts, the ministry highlighted. The new contract will be applied to all the small-to-medium sized outlets in the country by mid-2018.
